The Barber Lounge is the longest running barbershop in the Village of Walden. This is only possible because we take our craft seriously and strive hard to provide a fantastic grooming experience to all of our customers.
Haircuts, Hot towel shaves, Modern beard grooming and Facials are just some of the general services provided by a professional staff all while enjoying yourself in a relaxed, safe, and family friendly atmosphere. No matter your age, ethnicity or style, all of our men's grooming specialists continue to stay well educated on all hair types and styles.

Darby SCHREYRE
Nothing brings me more satisfaction in this line of work than nailing a fade and being able to give someone exactly what they want in a haircut. Taking pride in my consultations enables me to understand and to deliver a satisfying experience to each one of my clients.
The opportunity of going to cosmetology school became available to me at age 16 while living in Arizona. Throughout my training, I quickly realized I wanted to excel my skills at men's hair. Practicing began with my brother and dad and anyone else who trusted me enough to help hone my skills. After obtaining my license in 2016, I began working at a unisex salon that focused solely on haircuts for two years before moving to NY.
Since then, I've had the opportunity of being trained by incredible master barbers who've helped me to grow not only as a licensed cosmetologist, but as a barber. My apprenticeship under their training has helped me to become even better at my focus on becoming a barber.
CYNTHIA ESPINO
I've developed a passion for hair from a very young age. Once I learned how to cut, I fell in love with the crafting and styling of hair and knew this was the trade for me. Originally from California, I started my career by attending beauty school and obtained my cosmetology license.
Now living in New York for over a year, I've been blessed to train under various master barbers and stylists which has helped me grow in my knowledge and skills of the industry. Working alongside seasoned professionals has allowed me to learn how to handle different hair types and styles.
What brings me satisfaction? Giving my clients a great fade as well as the overall outcome of a great looking haircut because it puts a smile upon their face. I've never been happier doing what I love!

RODERICK STATON
The first time I picked up a pair of clippers I was 13 years old. With sweaty palms and shaky hands, I gave myself my first cut ever. It wasn’t the best work, but at the time that feeling of having a fresh cut was unmatched. Needless to say, over the years I’ve grown a lot and still like to cut my own hair to this day.
My time as a licensed barber here in New York has taught me that confidence is key in the world we live in and I’m in the business of restoring men’s confidence through grooming. From classic cuts to tight fades we are prepared for all your grooming needs.

JESSE ALMODOVAR
I have a passion for the craft and chose to go to barbering school while residing in Florida. I've strived for a continued professional standard for both myself and the barbering industry as well as hoping to own my shop one day.
In 2009, I have moved to New York and worked at "The Barber Lounge" ever since. My goal was finally realized when I became its owner in September 2018. I've been a licensed barber for over 10 years now with a Master Barbers License in both Florida and New York.
It continues to truly be a privilege to work alongside a talented and professional staff to help provide the local community a family friendly barbershop where you can take care of all your grooming needs.
